4/10
The living room looks out over a breathtaking view, and the owners live in the building alongside their guests. The woman who spoke with me was immediately warm and helpful. She said visitors from abroad often don’t mind sharing bathrooms, which I can understand as a matter of habit. Still, I decided not to stay. There are only a few rooms, maybe four, and just one has its own bathroom. In my opinion, the shared ones weren’t especially clean. The price seemed average. I grew up in Pistoia, but I never knew this historic building was tucked behind a doorway only two minutes from Piazza Duomo.

The rooms felt clean and welcoming, and the staff were so friendly. I arrived after closing, but they still greeted me impeccably. Highly recommended.
