Residenza La Torre

Nadia made our stay at "Residenza La Torre" in Tropea feel special from the moment we arrived. The B&B is close to the historic center and just a short walk from some of the area's loveliest Blue Flag beaches. Our room was comfortable, clean, and tastefully furnished, with everything we needed. Nadia was the standout. She was always available and attentive, welcomed us warmly after rescuing us from an unpleasant situation, and made us feel at home right away. Her tips on what to see and where to eat were really helpful. Breakfast each morning was a treat, with fresh, authentic food that kept us going through long days at the beach and sightseeing. The rest of the staff were kind and helpful as well. We'd happily recommend this B&B for a memorable holiday in Tropea. Absurd. Cleanliness was badly lacking, and so was privacy. The two rooms are upstairs in an attic. For some reason, the owner kept coming into the shared spaces, the corridor, kitchen, and living room, late at night and early in the morning. She slammed doors and switched off the lights while I was walking from the bathroom to the bedroom. Everything was separate rather than in one room. It was so stressful. Even though I'd booked ahead and check-in was available from 3:00 pm, I arrived at 8:00 pm and the room still wasn't ready. They said it would be done in a moment, then showed me a cold, dirty room. They hadn't even heated it. There was dust, bedbugs, and other people's underwear lying around! I paid 76 euros for 2 nights and didn't even get an invoice. The room went 48 hours without being cleaned. WiFi wasn't used because they didn't give me the password, and by then I was so fed up I didn't bother asking. I can't believe they acted so casually about it. I'd be ashamed if I were them. They also have a bar, and I can't even imagine what that's like. Never again.
