Hotel Stefanshof

The food was perfect, with five high-quality courses each evening and a generous seven-course dinner on New Year's Eve. Werner and Barbara hosted us impeccably, and the property's beautiful, well-kept, and comfortably heated rooms added to the stay. Their family-run approach is a real strength. They're around and available without being intrusive, and they made time to talk with guests and help us feel at home. The service was excellent, too, including a mountain hike with Werner using snow chains and the sauna on site. The family atmosphere they created was what stood out most.

We stayed at Hotel Stefanshof from December 26, 2025, to January 2, 2026, and the four of us were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived. Barbara and Werner were friendly and helpful the whole time, and we felt right at home. Many thanks to the full team for such an unforgettable vacation. We'll definitely return! The food was a highlight, with creative cooking, generous portions, and an impressive wine selection. Our spacious, clean rooms had beautiful mountain views. The cooking was excellent, with authentic dishes prepared with care. We were looked after throughout our stay by the family, who were kind and attentive without ever intruding. It's a quiet, relaxing place to unwind, and an authentic experience we'd gladly repeat.
