Arcom Palace Hotel

We arrived early, but the friendly front desk clerk let us check in and got our rooms ready. The apartment-style rooms and breakfast were nice. It's a bit of a hike from Cetral Rome, though public transport is great if you're up for the trip. Be prepared for the cold, most places in Italy don't turn on the heat until November, lol. We still had a lovely stay and would do it again.

The rooms were very clean, and the supermarket is within walking distance. Ours had been newly renovated and was spacious, with a kitchen and balcony. Breakfast had a decent selection, and the Lavazza coffee was very good. Indoor parking costs an extra 10 Euro/night. Reception were helpful and arranged transport to Rome so we could avoid driving in the traffic and trying to find safe parking.

The staff were nice, and the place looks good, but it wasn't very practical. The WiFi signal in the bedrooms was poor, and the electric heaters had various problems. Several room doors didn't lock or unlock properly. There was no drinking water provided, so you have to buy it outside. That may be common in Italy, but it's inconvenient when you're visiting from another country. There aren't really any views either.

The hotel felt like a gallery, with old paintings everywhere, and it was very clean. The service and staff were excellent. Staying in this marvelous palace felt like a present to myself, almost like being treated as royalty. I hope I can visit again one day!
