My brother and I stayed one night for a great price, and there are bars, a pizzeria, and restaurants right downstairs. The owner was really sweet, though a bit overwhelming in how attentive he was. The door lock took a little figuring out, but we had a nice stay 🤌💙

The bathrooms felt dated, both in appearance and how they worked. There’s no central heating, just a huge unit in the room that makes everything else warmer. The doors are falling apart, and the water control knob sits in the middle of a smashed tile that could easily cut you. Outside, traffic comes through clearly, along with frequent barking dogs. The beds are stiff, and there’s no air conditioning, so being close to the train station and an entrance to pompeii didn’t make the stay worthwhile.

The staff were nice, and the balcony had a lovely view. But sleeping with the patio doors open was impossible because of street noise in the evening and morning. Only one room has air conditioning. The shower has no door, so water gets all over the bathroom, and the toilet tank has no cover, letting water splash out while it refills.

At off peak season the prices were great. The owner was lovely, and our room looked out over the town square with a balcony.
