The location was the only really good thing, and the staff were friendly. The rest was badly neglected, even the simplest things. Our room wasn’t clean, the shower was almost cold at 7am, and breakfast got scarcer each day, with basic items like bread disappearing and no ham or cheese. No one apologized or tried to provide even a minimum level of service. There were lots of mosquitoes despite the cold weather, and a bad smell in the lobby and room area. WiFi only worked in the lobby. Staff said a cable problem kept them from fixing it for all four days. I’d avoid this place.

I felt at home thanks to the staff, who were exceptionally kind and accommodating. The hotel is easy to reach and sits in a cute little spot near the bell tower, right in the centre. It’s a quick walk to the ruins, and there’s great food in the town centre. I’d come back.

The location was a standout, and the staff were super friendly. The room was clean with a comfortable bed and a high ceiling that kept it cool. The water pressure and temperature were good too.

The location made getting around easy, with the train station less than two blocks away and the Pompeii ruins only a few blocks farther. There’s a restaurant right next door, where we sat outside and watched the Piazza go by. The hotel dates back to 1872, and you can see its age, but our small room was spotless and had a little balcony. Breakfast was perfectly adequate, and the two men making coffee and cappuccinos were real masters. Each drink was made to order, with lovely foam on the cappuccino.

For the price and location, this place was a 5/5 for me. The service was really nice, and breakfast was okay. I loved staying here, and I’d come back if I return to Pompei. :)
