The staff really try to make you feel comfortable and welcome, and the place is just a few minutes' walk from the Pompeii ruins. It's a small, family-run hotel. I've stayed twice and will come back on my next trip. If you get the chance, have dinner there: they bring in a great chef to prepare a really good evening meal.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the area felt safe. It's near the train and Pompei Archeological site, with the main part of town just a short walk away, though the place was a bit hard to find, especially at night. Check-in was strange: I arrived around 3pm to a dark, empty, locked reception, and with no cell service I had to walk into town for Wi-Fi to find out what was going on. Thankfully they were very nice and came right over. The same empty reception situation happened at checkout around 10am, maybe because it was off season? The shower also didn't always get very warm. Still a good place, and I'd stay again.

Salvadore was a helpful host and explained everything we needed to know. The location is great for the ruins, and from our balcony we had a nice view of Vesuvio. The AC worked great too.

Even though we booked and paid through Expedia, they couldn't accommodate us. They sent us to Hotel Elena instead, which turned out to be quite nice.

It was convenient for both the train station and the entrance to the ruins, and the balcony view of Vesuvius was a nice bonus. There are better places to stay in town.
