The only thing we enjoyed around here was the delicious Pizza Maradona nearby. As for the stay, it was the worst BnB experience I've had, and I strongly advise against booking because the property, transport, and surrounding streets were all a problem. Inside, there was a strong soap smell everywhere, but that didn't make it feel clean. The facilities were extremely basic and poor quality, like everything had come from a second-hand market. The clock didn't work, the old utensils were all mismatched, noise from outside came straight in, and the walls needed painting. The hot water wasn't right, and the toilet made a loud noise every hour. There were printed signs all over the place instructing guests and threatening charges, which made me keep wondering why I'd paid so much. The train station next to the accommodation has been closed for years. Don't count on the supposed replacement bus. We saw it only once during our stay, and it didn't stop for us. Without public transport, you have to walk 2.2 km to the station and another 2.2 km back. There are no proper sidewalks, so you end up walking beside the road or across dirty areas. It felt unsafe, especially at night, and the route to the station even goes through an autoban exit. Really dangerous.

We had an unpleasant, stressful, and unsafe stay. The host said the train station was nearby, but it had been out of service for months. They then told us there was a replacement bus, but there wasn't one, so we had to walk 30 minutes to the station every day. With almost no sidewalks, we were forced into the road beside heavy traffic and lots of trash. The host later said we'd never been there, so I added photos of the property and nearby area for readers to judge for themselves. The accommodation itself was disappointing too. It's right on a busy road, and constant honking made it impossible to sleep in the morning. The toilet was tiny, and the shower had a serious drainage problem. I can't recommend staying here.

Calling this “EXCLUSIVE” ???? The hotel pictures don't show what you need to know before booking. They show the place on a bright, sunny day, but we arrived at night, and the surroundings looked much, much worse. We were scared to open the car door outside the house. After calling the hotel and learning we'd lose our money, we had to look for an available room at 9pm after a 10-hour drive. We were shocked enough already.

We paid online and had a confirmed booking, including the tourist tax through a separate online tool. But when we arrived, there was no reception or information about self check-in. We tried calling, emailing, and messaging on WhatsApp to find out how to enter the building and room, with no response. They had our money and left us standing outside. We left after two hours and still weren't sure we'd get a refund. I can't recommend this place. Update: Four months later, we still hadn't received our money back, and the host still hadn't replied, even through the booking.com help desk.

The host was amazing, with great suggestions for places to eat and things to see. He even helped us rent a car and went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our time. Our tropical-style room was beautiful, tidy, and clean, with lovely extras like towels, soap, and a generous breakfast spread. We were about five minutes from the Pompeii ruins, right by a train and bus station that was easy to reach. I'd recommend this lovely room.
