The ham rolls with chestnut and fontina were one of the best things I've ever eaten. We didn't pick dishes from the menu, but were treated to one delicious surprise after another. Great personal service, too. If you're nearby, this authentic restaurant is well worth a visit.

We had no menu choice that evening, just a set selection, and that suited us perfectly. The food was varied, delicious, homemade, and brought to the table. It's a small traditional restaurant in a fairytale-looking medieval village, and we were greeted so warmly when we arrived. The waiter and cook were both friendly.

After a lovely Sunday lunch here during a walking trip, we decided to stay and use the hotel as a base for more walks. We came back in the quiet off-season in October and received another warm welcome. It's a family-run place, and the staff pay attention to what you need. Our room was comfortable, clean, and in good condition, and dinner was a well-presented, good-quality typical Italian meal. A great resource for this pretty village.
