It’s fairly quiet here, set back from the main street, though the port is still only a 10-minute uphill walk away. The location is gorgeous, the staff are pleasant and helpful, and breakfast was decent. There’s a smallish pool with amazing views, and the room had good air conditioning.

The hotel is a good choice for a visit to Ponza, with friendly service, adequate rooms, and an amazing view from the pool. Still, 9 Eur for a 33cl Peroni feels wrong. I get that the view has value, but the price doesn’t fit what I’d expect from a three-star hotel. Sadly, things being overpriced seems common across the island.

The pool itself isn’t very big, but there’s lots of room around the pool and in the lounge, and both look great in photos. The rooms are cosy, breakfast is delicious, and the staff are amazing. With a breathtaking view and a perfect location, I’d highly recommend it for a long weekend or a full week.

I’d seen people say the rooms were old and small, but that wasn’t my experience. My economy room had a large bathroom, good air conditioning and a ceiling fan, plus a lovely view over the island’s land side. The terrace is the best hotel terrace I’ve experienced, and the pool is magnificent too, especially at sunset over Ponza. Lovely staff.
