The owners were so kind and shared lots of interesting tips. Breakfast was lovely, with plenty to choose from. The place was beautiful, comfortable, clean and well organized, right on one of Portici’s main streets and close to the train station, shops, places to eat and things to visit.

I felt right at home at “Il nido.” The owner was so kind and always available to talk. Our room was spacious and really clean, and breakfast was excellent and plentiful. I especially liked the shared central table for anyone who wanted to have breakfast together. The coffee was excellent too. The location was perfect, and the delivery was super. I’ll definitely be back!

We paid for two nights in a suite, but the room was dirty, with someone else’s rubbish still in the bin, and it didn’t feel like a suite at all. Calling an old 19th-century apartment a suite just because it has two bedrooms insults people’s intelligence. After seeing everything on the first night, we didn’t want to stay the second night. The owner was kind, but the gentleman still thought it was fine not to refund our money. Kind, maybe, but not a decent person.
