A lovely little hotel with kind owners. The food is simple but good, and it’s close to the beach. I had everything I needed.

A nice hotel by Barbarrosa Beach, and you can walk to Porto Azurro from there.

My parents really enjoyed their stay. Since they’re lactose intolerant, the hotel made special desserts to accommodate them. The place was clean and practical, and the staff were kind and very helpful.

The owners made Hotel Barbarossa feel like a family place, always welcoming us with a smile. They shared daily tips on which beaches to visit and even kept us posted about the wind. We’ll miss our everyday chats and that warm atmosphere. The property is spotless and well cared for, with the rooms tidied impeccably every day. Our room was comfortable, practical, and had everything we needed. The location worked well too: four minutes by car or twenty on foot from Porto Azzurro, close to Barbarossa Beach and not far from the lovely Zuccale and Barabarca beaches. Breakfast was generous and varied. The cocoa milk they brought to our table was delicious, and they also served schiaccia ubriaca, a typical Elban cake. A place that stays in your heart!
