The bedroom was a good size, the room had an amazing view, and the location was good, close to the marina and several good restaurants. Reception staff were scarce, though they did respond on WhatsApp.

We booked a family room with two beds, but one of the beds for my son hadn’t been made when we arrived. The room looked nothing like the Booking photos, especially the family room listing. It felt old, poorly maintained, and unclean, with visible stains on the carpets and a generally run down feel. There was no WiFi during our stay, and the air conditioning didn’t work, which made things worse. We spent one night at Hotiday Positano Sea View and were very disappointed. Positano is amazing, but the accommodation was misleading and didn’t match the listing. We wouldn’t stay here again.

I’d booked a room for 3 nights at $1700 and messaged them four times with separate questions about check in, check out, and other things. I got no reply for over 3 weeks, so I cancelled. When I went back, the price for the same dates was up to $7000. Don’t bother, and read all the reviews on bookings.com.
