Locanda Alla Posta

The restaurant has been part of so many milestones for us, from planning our wedding to other special events like baptisms. Friends who've stayed here have had excellent visits too. I spend about 30% of my life here, so I'm naturally biased, having married into the community, with Alla Posta at its center. It's also where I first met my darling wife, 30 years ago, and Alla Posta remains a local gathering place. Our dear friend Remo, sadly no longer with us, was once the center of the universe here, known for his dry wit. Rafaela has taken over the helm and done a superb job. The place has a lovely atmosphere and is at the heart of the social community. We've often met friends at the bar and enjoyed the bella vita, and we've brought visiting friends to the restaurant without any worry. The food has always impressed us, with interesting dishes, excellent quality, and great value. The staff are professional, friendly, and helpful, and they keep quality high without making things feel stiff or uncomfortable. And don't forget Mens Day, "fest d'omini" on 2nd of August every year for 7am.....

I've spent five months at the Locanda over the past two years, for work and study in the area, two months in 2023 and three in 2024. I'd live there forever if I could, and can't wait to return. Rafaella and her staff are wonderful. The rooms are quiet and well looked after, there's a wide choice at breakfast, and the restaurant downstairs serves a lovely lunch menu. I can't recommend the place enough.

Rafaella was wonderfully helpful and hospitable when we visited six years ago. Since this is the village where my father was born, she helped us look for information about him and his family. We were staying there as part of a longer trip and enjoyed using it as a base to explore the surrounding villages.

Un Posto storico e stupendo ! The historic feel of the hotel has been respected, and the decor, welcoming atmosphere, and warmth from Rafaella and the staff made it feel like home.
