The care put into the design, beds, and breakfast gives this B&B a special feel. It’s one of the best places I’ve stayed. This was my second visit to Agriturismo Scala, and once again I had a fantastic time at Tom & Annemarie's place. I was also lucky enough to join the first Salumi experience they organized. It was superbly put together and gave a unique look at the local salumi kitchen, including how it tastes. :)

The food was a real highlight, sourced either from the farm or nearby, all organically grown and top quality. The beds are incredibly comfortable, with lovely bed linen, and the rain shower looks out over the hills. It’s a five-star stay with a family farm feel, and a peaceful spot in the Marche for a quiet break. The hosts make you feel at home, getting the service just right while giving you your privacy. Go, you won’t regret it.

Tom and Annemarie made our week unforgettable, always finding ways to make our stay even better. Breakfasts were incredible, and on request they made a homemade antipasti dinner that was insanely good. There was also a surprising range of local wines and craft beers, and Tom’s enthusiasm for fermentation blew us away. Scala exceeded what we expected: lovely gardens and views, a quiet location that’s easy to reach, spotless rooms, great beds, and tasteful furnishings.

Annemarie and Tom made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay, always ready to help and clearly invested in making it special. We felt like guests, not just people passing through. The handmade breakfast was incredible, fresh and local, and the rooms were stylish, cozy, and full of thoughtful touches. We were lucky to be among the first guests at SCALA Agriturismo, and the care they’ve put into every detail was clear from the moment we arrived. Highly recommended if you enjoy thoughtful design, warm hosts, and a peaceful, authentic atmosphere. And do try the olive oil!

We took home some of their excellent olive oil and honey as a small memento, and enjoyed a breakfast made with delicious local ingredients that reflected the region’s food traditions. Annemarie and Tom were warm and welcoming even though we only stayed one night. The quiet hills around Potenza Picena made it easy to relax, and the interior showed remarkable attention to detail, with everything arranged tastefully and with care. A very memorable stop at Scala Agriturismo, and a great choice for a peaceful, authentic Italian countryside escape, even for just one night.
