We had no booking in Prato allo Stelvio after cycling from Munich, hoping to ride up Stelvio Pass the next day. The Tourist Information Office pointed us to Astoria, and it was a perfect fit. The rooms were very nice, the place was well run, and the location made a great starting point for the climb. Hot coffee and a full European breakfast in the morning got us going. Thanks to the family running the Pension. You’re doing a great job, and we’ll be back!

A great deal for what you get. The rooms were clean and a decent size, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. It’s no frills, just as advertised.

Such a relaxing spot, with a great location and very nice rooms. The owner was efficient and lovely. I’ll come back and tell my friends about it.

It’s an owner-run hotel and seems fairly priced for what you get. The staff were very friendly, and the place was clean. The bathroom, though, was a molded plastic unit fitted into the main room.
