B&B La Dolce Vita

The homemade torta crostata at breakfast was a treat, and Rody was so kind and helpful. He knows the area well and cares a lot about nature, sustainability, and the island. Staying here felt like being with family, and I’d love to come back if I can. The beach is about a five-minute walk away. It was quiet and felt safe for swimming, even well away from shore. The sunsets over the water and the moon rising with its reflection on the sea were unforgettable. I also sometimes saw a peacock crossing the path or following me, and green parrots in the nearby pine trees. This family-run B&B is in a peaceful residential area, surrounded by pink, magenta, and white bougainvillea and other lovely plants. Mornings came with birdsong. The house was comfortable, with high ceilings, a great shower, and excellent air conditioning, much appreciated in 30+°C heat. The Wi-Fi was faster than mine back in the UK, which helped since I had work to do during my week there.

That small pool at the B&B was a nice extra in the warm weather, and the place made a handy base for getting to several beautiful beaches. Roberto greeted us warmly when we arrived and made us feel at ease right away. He also shared good suggestions for restaurants and day trips. We stayed for a week in September and would certainly return if we visit Sardinia again.

The breakfast had tasty sweet and savory choices for everyone, and the rooms were clean. My family and I spent two nights here and really enjoyed it. Mr. Roberto greeted us and was kind and attentive. We’d definitely stay again if we come back to the area, and I recommend the place.

Roberto, the owner who lives downstairs, was kind and helpful. The room itself was clean and had a mini fridge, air conditioning, and TV, but the first-floor room called DELUXE was small and the bathroom was very small too. The shared areas could use more order and cleanliness. There’s a lot of potential here, but it isn’t being fully used. Outside, the villa has a breakfast patio with three tables, though they weren’t always clean and the ashtray was constantly full of cigarette butts. There’s also a Jacuzzi, pool, and a lawn that’s half real and half artificial, with a soccer goal. Going through the sliding door leads to the breakfast area, which was very hot. Breakfast felt sparse: small frozen croissants, just one kind each day with no choice, plus four slices of cheese and one kind of cured meat. The savory food was kept in a warm spot, which didn’t seem appropriate. A small fridge had water, juice, and yogurt, and there was a coffee machine with pods and a milk frother. Cleanliness there also fell short. This was a couple's stay in July.
