Our room looked out over Piazza del Duomo, yet the crowds outside were barely audible thanks to the excellent renovation of this historic apartment in central Ragusa Ibla. Inside, it was very comfortable, with tasteful, creative furnishings chosen by the owner, Lella. She was friendly and helpful, and made us feel right at home. We had long chats with her over breakfast and got to try some delicious local specialties. At the entrance, she had a small display of her crocheted baby shoes and hats, her “gems,” redesigned with a modern touch. They were truly beautiful. Ragusa Ibla itself is charming, and this B&B has the same appeal. We had a lovely stay and will definitely return. It’s a highly recommended base for exploring Baroque Sicily and the places made famous by Inspector Montalbano.

Francesco’s kindness, knowledge, and willingness to help made our five days in Ibla very pleasant. The property on Piazza Duomo is beautiful, charming, and quiet. Breakfast at Bar Biancomangiare was excellent.

Mrs. Lella was lovely and ready to help, and the location is fantastic. Everything was new and spotlessly clean. A real little gem, highly recommended if you’re passing through Ragusa!
