Borgo Monachella

The staff were really friendly, and breakfast was great, especially the homemade cakes and jams.

The family who own the place are kind, sweet and really helpful. It's such a lovely place to be, surely one of the best in Ragusa. The rooms are top class, and that homemade breakfast is incredible, definitely not to be missed. Outside, there's a big area with a large pool, deck chairs, showers and toilets, plus plenty of room for barbecues and relaxing with family and friends. We'll surely visit again ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Breakfast was delicious, with homemade treats and fruit jams made by Enrico's charming mother. In the morning, Enrico and his mother serve it together. He's a great host and made the atmosphere lovely. He recommended places to see and eat in Ragusa, gave us a map, and showed us where we could park for free. The rooms at this family-run B&B in the suburbs of Ragusa were clean, nicely equipped and very pleasant. Borgo Monachella is somewhere we'd happily return to.

The room had space for five, with a double bed and full bathroom downstairs, including a shower but no tub, and three twin beds upstairs with a toilet, sink and bidet. The B&B is lovely, and the owners have put a lot of care into making it welcoming. You do need a car to get there, along an unpaved road; it's behind a gate, with limited signage for security. Breakfast was lovely: homemade jams, croissants, bread, cappuccino, yogurt, fresh squeezed orange juice and lots of fresh fruit. The lady of the house also made all the curtains by hand. Highly recommend!
