Agriturismo Camugnano

I stayed just one night a few days ago. It was cold inside and the heating was poor, the room wasn't well maintained, and the bathroom needed a duvet. The view of the highway and industrial area was spectacular. Breakfast was mostly processed food, and cleanliness wasn't great. Rubbish place.

It's a bit outside Rapolano, which can be nice, but you'll need a car or you'll be stuck without food because there's nothing nearby. The room was decent and had air conditioning, and the breakfast was good overall. Some items were packaged and others weren't, including homemade biscuits. The garden could use better care, and the pool was in pretty bad shape: its bottom and wall membrane is cracked and needs fixing or replacing. It might be fine for private use, but not for guests. The pool shower is cramped too. With two rooms, the host should set up two breakfast tables instead of one for six, since sharing a table with strangers might be unpleasant. The price felt a bit high for what's offered, €20 less would be great.

We stayed July 5-6, 2025, and the pool was the standout, several meters long, lovely, and well kept. On hot days, it was hard to stop having fun there. The owner was kind and helpful, and communication with us was excellent. The place is charming, reached by a cypress-lined path, with a typically Italian feel and a modern touch, including online booking. There are two rooms and a shared kitchen with dining space. Breakfast is self-service, delicious, and includes tasty local fare. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the air conditioning worked well. A cat came by in the morning as promised, and we also got to see the local Bambi, a deer. It's near the highway but off the beaten track, with a restaurant five minutes away by car. We recommend it and would happily return. P.S. At night, when you're alone, you notice every little movement.
