The kitchen was well equipped, the rooms were clean, and the bathroom was modern. Everything was fine.

The beds were comfortable and the apartments had everything we needed. The ski bus stop and a Spar store are nearby, with a bakery across the road. You can also use the wellness area at Frida hotel for free.

They cancelled my reservation for the Olympics because they hadn't updated the price, so I can't share an actual stay experience. Now I'm left without a place to stay and no chance of finding another one. The whole family has had their trip ruined, and we'll have to book miles away. This is shameful behavior, and I never expected it from a host in these areas. Thanks so much.

On the occasions I visited, the reception service at Hotel Frida Am Wald, which the apartments belong to, was excellent. The apartments are just a 2-3 minute walk from the hotel. They're new and well equipped, and some have direct mountain views and a small river. They also offered me free use of the hotel's pool and spa. I loved it.

If you're traveling with pets, call first and ask about the price. I've been around South Tyrol a lot, but this caught me off guard: 14 euros per day per pet, and I had two. The explanation was the same old joke, as if people live in caves and will drink anything. Anyway, long live South Tyrol and its honest people.
