Hotel Palazzo Confalone

The rain briefly changed our wedding plans, but the team quickly set up the cocktail hour indoors, then moved everything back outside once the weather cleared. We were able to have dinner under the pergola as planned. The garden ceremony had a breathtaking coastline view, and the intimate dinner setting felt like a dream. From our first messages through the end of the day, everything was handled with care and professionalism. The food and cake were excellent, and our wishes were met with real attention. Palazzo Confalone will always mean a lot to us. Thank you for making the day what we’d dreamed of. 💛

With only seven rooms, the main building has a cosy feel, and the hotel makes a lovely escape from the Amalfi Coast crowds. The views are fantastic and the restaurant food is excellent. The owners also have a vineyard, which makes for a great combination. Palazzo Confalone shares its striking setting and views with Belmond Hotel Caruso and LHW Hotel Palazzo Avino. One practical tip: ask the team to help when parking. The driveway is so narrow that their help can save you stress and possibly a paint repair.

We loved our dinner so much that we booked it after our wine tasting, following Antoinella’s recommendation. From the terrace we saw an incredible fireworks show, and the food and service were just as good as before. The view and wine were wonderful, but it was the staff’s warmth and real effort to make sure we had a great time that stood out. We were greeted kindly, and Antoinella, our brilliant sommelier and manager, and the wait staff all took great care of us. Palazzo Confalone is a magical place. Our junior garden suit was roomy, with a garden view and direct access to the garden and terrace cafe. We preferred that to an ocean view. The atmosphere was lovely, and everyone was welcoming. We got married at the Giardini Principessa di Piemonte. I hadn’t told the staff ahead of time that my hairstylist and makeup artist would come to the room, so they charged an extra fee, which felt unreasonable. They were also very strict about family or visitors coming to the room, which I found unreasonable too. Apart from that, it was a great stay.
