The room and bathroom were spacious and clean, with exposed beams, and it was absolutely quiet at night even though the property is on a provincial road. It’s less than ten minutes from the center of Ravenna, a handy spot if you want some peace and quiet. I liked being able to check in and out myself, with the keys kept in a safe. There’s a piadina shop next door, and it’s good value for money. I’d definitely stay again.

The room was huge and comfortable, with a spacious bathroom and even a whirlpool tub. Breakfast came with coffee, jam, toast and pastries, and there’s a handy kitchen if you’d rather not go out to eat. The host was very friendly and helpful, and accommodated all our needs. The location is convenient on the road to Ravenna, with plenty of parking and a kiosk serving piadinas and a bar within walking distance. It’s a busy road, so traffic can get heavy at certain times of day, but that’s acceptable given the price and convenience.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s a lovely rustic farmhouse, with wooden beams that give it a warm, welcoming feel. There are rooms with whirlpool tubs, plus a convenient shared kitchen if you don’t want to use the excellent kiosk attached.

The rooms are spacious, and the bathroom is especially large and comfortable. We found everything spotlessly clean on our first visit, but less so on the second. They also offer a small breakfast and use of a shared kitchen, though neither is mandatory. We had a good time and the price is reasonable. It’s not on the beach, but both the northern and southern beaches of Ravenna are easy to reach. One drawback: rooms facing the main road stay noisy until after midnight. We’ve stayed twice and will come back. The old station guesthouse is on the busy road between Ravenna and Forlì, beside a piadineria that I believe still belongs to the same owner. The first time we had to leave almost as soon as we arrived because of a serious family issue. The owners kindly let us choose a return date at a reduced rate, so we came back the first weekend in August.
