The pool is lovely, with pleasant natural views, and the restaurant was better than we expected. They even brought lunch up to our room. Traveling with a baby was easy: the friendly staff responded quickly and provided a cot and high chair. The atmosphere felt warm and family-friendly. The hotel itself is old, and the rooms are basic with dated furniture, so it doesn't really feel like a four-star place. Portofino is a 35-minute drive away, but this is a good-value base for visiting the area.

We had a clean room, a comfortable bed, and a lovely view from our private balcony. The welcome was friendly, service was great, and there's spacious indoor parking. It's also a convenient base for beautiful cities such as Portofino. Good quality for the price, highly recommended!

The restaurant alone made us want to extend our stay. Its service, the food, and especially the special focaccia were amazing, and the breakfast bar included with the stay had plenty to choose from. We first booked just one night at the last minute because our previous accommodation had fallen through, but after the lovely welcome from everyone at Hotel Villa Manuelina, we stayed a second night. Our room was clean and very comfortable. The location just off the highway let us relax after a long drive, and we could take a day trip to Portofino without paying to stay there. The staff were kind throughout. Highly recommend!

8/10
The room was spotless, well looked after, and had a comfortable bed. Staff were professional and welcoming, and the receptionist got back to us quickly by email or phone, always with a smile. There are plenty of parking spaces and the hotel is easy to find. Breakfast was only so-so, with limited choices, though the service was excellent. We were given a bottle of local wine as a gift, which made for a really nice marketing touch.

We'd happily return. The room was comfortable and clean, with enough space for two adults, two kids, and a dog. The staff were exceptionally friendly and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast was very good, the pool was refreshing and lovely, and they clearly love children.
