B&B La Terrazza Sul Duomo

We had a lovely time here with two friends. The B&B was tidy and very clean, and the owner was kind. She left fresh water, coffee, a kettle, and everything for a full breakfast, or you could choose to eat at a nearby bar instead. She also suggested a place for dinner nearby, and we had a wonderful meal there. It’s convenient for getting around, and the terrace has a spectacular view. We brought what we needed for an aperitif, though we could happily have had dinner out there too. We’ve already recommended it.

Tea, coffee, and water were always there, and the room was cleaned every day with fresh towels. The hostess was sweet and welcoming. It’s a pleasant, cozy, clean place, with the terrace looking over the square and the Duomo. The station is close, around a relaxed ten-minute walk, and Castello Aragonese and the street with Garibaldi shops are nearby too. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Breakfast was at a nearby cafeteria, with the usual Italian croissant and coffee. The hostess speaks only limited English, so knowing some Italian helps. I paid €40 a night in January 2022, and I’d recommend the place. It’s very central, with the Duomo right next door and the train station close by. The B&B is on the second floor; there’s an elevator, though you do need to manage steps at the entrance. It’s a lovely, spacious apartment with two bedrooms for rent and a large west-facing roof terrace. There’s no kitchen, but a counter has a kettle and espresso machine, plus a small fridge and complimentary coffee, tea, and water. The apartment is very well kept, and both heating and air conditioning work well.
