The room had ants, the pool was dirty, and the service was poor, with housekeeping only every four days and a laughable breakfast. The surrounding area has abandoned buildings and no tourist infrastructure. I doubt this is really a four-star hotel, or even deserves one star. I travel all over the world, and this was by far my worst stay. The positive reviews seem to come from staff and their friends. For your health and safety, avoid the hotel and the area.

You need a car to reach this hotel, since it's quite far from Reggio in an isolated spot. The rooms are just adequate. Breakfast was poor, with drinks served in plastic cups, and the meal I had in the restaurant was hands down the worst of my life. Avoid it.

My husband and I came for our 25th wedding anniversary, and this was no romantic setting. The walk to the beach and the beach itself were covered in rubbish. At the hotel, the pool was full of bugs and leaves, had missing tiles, and the poolside bar was empty and torn apart. Dinner was a mistake too: the menu had only three choices and no prices, and the grisly pork chop with wilted salad was disgusting. A local man at the ice cream parlor had warned us not to eat the fish in town.
