The sea views are breathtaking, and Hotel Poker sits along the beach road, lined with lovely restaurants, beside an ancient church. For us, it has become a second home in Italy. Friends and family who have stayed with us will keep coming back for the rest of our lives. It feels like five-star luxury at three-star prices, and to me Hotel Poker leads Riccione in hospitality and sets a new bar for customer satisfaction in Italian tourism. A special thank you to Alice, Sara, Luli and Esmeralda. Alice was friendly, very professional, spoke English well and handled all kinds of guests with real skill. She was determined to make everyone feel welcome and part of the family. Sara spoke many languages fluently, including Spanish, and went above and beyond. She offered us several room options so we felt specially treated. I also saw her provide outstanding service through long nights and into the late morning. Luli was on site and somehow moved like a magician with her cleaning. I'd go to breakfast and return to a room that felt brand new each day, with fresh linens folded perfectly, clean, soft, warm towels and a bathroom that smelled like a dozen freshly cut roses. I asked her to clean without chemical products because of sensitive allergies, and she responded with patient persistence. Her charisma was charming and I'll always appreciate it. Esmeralda was the highlight of our time with this warm family-run Hotel Poker. She's an experienced chef and barrista, serving what I'd call an authentic Michellin dining experience. In the morning, the aroma would lead us from our bedroom to the dining room, where she'd make us fresh 100% Arabica Macciato, Cappucino and Espresso. They came with some of the finest freshly baked pastries in Italy and the most delicious eggs anyone could hope to eat. My sincere thanks to all the warm and welcoming staff at Hotel Poker.
