Claudia was a wonderful host, and breakfast on the terrace was really nice. I also appreciated the personal notes around the property, which made it feel like a real home. My room was spacious, with a huge private bathroom, a comfortable bed and pillow, and a fan for hot summer days. There’s a fridge for personal items, too. The location is fantastic, right in the old town and about a 10-15 minute walk from the train station. The property looks just like the pictures, and it was great value for money.

The staff were kind and our stay was pleasant. It’s close to the center of Rimini, and both the bedrooms and toilets were clean and tidy.

I come to Rimini once each February, and Casa Mancini has become part of what makes the trip rewarding. Its central spot is ideal for getting around by bike or on foot, and the station is about a ten-minute walk away, with trains making nearby attractions easy to reach. I’ve come to feel I couldn’t do without it on these trips, which have become a way for me to reconnect with the beauty of life. At night, the quiet makes a real difference. I live in the center of a very noisy city, so sleeping well here, thanks to comfortable mattresses and privacy from other guests, is especially restorative. The long walks of several kilometers, with new discoveries along the way, feel even better after a good night’s rest. The guests seem to have been chosen carefully over time. Casa Mancini isn’t for people who are superficial or afraid of silence, who need noise to avoid introspection and social anxiety. Claudia and Roberto Mancini are thoughtful people, not superficial at all. Claudia handles arrivals and is consistently kind and attentive to guests’ needs. Her father Roberto is a retired architect, a gentleman of the old school, and well read. He can hold a conversation about all sorts of subjects, which suggests someone who has lived through many situations and learned to adapt. He hasn’t given in to “ugliness”; he’s kept his own and his family’s human and cultural dignity. His daughters are a clear reflection of that. Breakfast is another pleasure, served in the studio of an architect who helped shape present-day Rimini and tried to address the inevitable flaws of a city with a historical and cultural past that is part of Italy’s history. The walnut furniture from between the two world wars is beautiful. Mr. Mancini makes a remarkable effort to look after his guests, going into town each morning for croissants, fresh bread, and everything else needed for a more than decent breakfast. The room and furnishings feel full of culture and authenticity.

Mr. Roberto served a delicious breakfast and was friendly, helpful, and cultured. The location is very central, close to Rimini’s attractions. We rented the double room with its own bathroom. The building and furnishings date from the 1970s, but the place is comfortable, spacious, and quiet. One thing to bear in mind is that the mattresses are firm, which may suit some people better than others. Well done.

The person here is cheerful and helpful, and made me feel comfortable straight away. I’d recommend this place to anyone visiting Rimini. Best wishes.
