Corallo Nord

The rooms are cold in winter.

The rooms are livable, the balcony view is beautiful, and everyone is polite. The hostess is always glad to help. Dinners are delicious and filling. The main drawback is how cold the rooms can be, especially the shower, though in theory they might warm up over time. For the price, the hotel is very good.

There’s no air conditioning, and the room is cramped, with the toilet and shower squeezed together in a 1 x 1 meter space. The place feels old and hasn’t been renovated since last year. Breakfast was just warm croissants, and there was no food in the dining room. They apparently cook elsewhere and bring it in. In the evenings it gets hot, but opening the balcony means hearing the neighbors as if they’re in your room. The staff, who are also relatives of the owner, kept a close eye on guests and made sure we didn’t have more than one coffee. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. It feels like a complete scam.

The beach is very close, almost 50 meters away, and it’s well equipped for kids too. We came during the August bank holiday, and the welcome made us feel right at home. The chef serves excellent food in generous portions. The rooms are more like what you’d expect in a 2-star hotel, so don’t count on 4-star amenities. I’d recommend it for a short stay.
