Hotel Gabbiano

It was quite noisy at night. A bar just across the street played music really loudly after midnight, and even with my window closed, it felt like the party was happening in my room. The room itself was perfectly clean, with good towels and a clean, fairly new shower. Service was at a very decent level, too. All the receptionists were so welcoming and friendly, and helped me with every little thing. Thank you!

The room faced the parking area, and paying extra for a hotel on the first line felt like wasted money. I hadn’t noticed when booking that the beach was paid. I assumed “private beach” meant it belonged to the hotel, but be prepared to pay around 20 EUR a day. The hotel has no beach privileges. There isn’t even a reception here. You have to go to another hotel to check in and out, which is super weird. The parking is a few blocks away, very expensive, and didn’t look secure or trustworthy. Maybe that’s just how it is in Rimini, where it seems you have to pay for everything. The card said breakfast started at 7, but reception told us 7:30. We showed up at 7:30 and there was still no breakfast. At night, music from beach parties came into our room every day until 1 or 2 AM. It was super loud.

The view was great, and the balcony was huge. The bed was comfortable, though the room itself was really small. That was fine for me, since after a long day I only needed somewhere to crash. It was good value for the price. The room was clean apart from an open bathroom window and dusty towels. Breakfast wasn’t great.

The rooms are nice, but the mattresses are inconsistent. Some are really bad.
