Global Hotel

My daughter and I stayed for a week. The balcony looked right out onto the sea, and the beach is just across the road. The location is great, and the hotel was clean, welcoming, and freshly renovated. The receptionists and maids were friendly. Our room for two was small but clean, and when we had a problem with the roller blind, reception responded quickly and fixed it. There’s a buffet available for an additional fee. The Wi-Fi was poor, which was a little disappointing. Overall, it’s a good option for the price, and I recommend it.

A really lovely hotel, clean, friendly, and affordable, with excellent rooms.

The sea-facing room had a big terrace, the beach was close, and getting to the airport or around by public transport was easy. The owners were lovely and happy to help whenever we asked. Inside, though, it was very basic, with a few things that felt decades out of date. There was no tea setup, the toilet and shower room smelled strongly of the waste system, and the internet signal was weak. The road was noisy, so we had to keep the windows closed at night. We only booked here at the last minute after our other accommodation was cancelled.

The breakfast coffee machine wasn't working, and the staff didn't seem to know how to use it. At reception, the older woman I think was Russian showed no smile or interest in us as clients. It felt as if we were staying there without paying.
