We ate well and left feeling very full, which was the main positive and tipped the balance enough for a four-star rating. On the downside, there are no fridges in the rooms or even a shared one, and the hotel has no microwave to heat food. That’s not ideal when traveling with small children. Most of the staff speak only Italian.

When I stayed here a few years ago, it was clean and the food was delicious. This time, it was dirty: they didn’t change the sheets or towels, and the bathroom was especially disgusting, with only a drain in the toilet area for the shower. Our room was small, and the third floor was terrible, though the second floor was okay. The cleaning lady didn’t clean the room until we demanded it. Such a disappointment after how great it used to be. The staff were okay.

The staff were really friendly and the food they served was delicious. But the electricity and air conditioning were faulty, and the place felt more like a hostel than a hotel.

The hotel is in very poor condition. There was an old man working there who was unpleasant and seemed to have trouble walking. The room had a very old TV and very old beds, and the linen was unclean. Most of all, the bathroom was extremely dirty and disgusting.
