Hotel Dolores

The shallow sandy beach is great for kids, and Rimini itself is a lovely town. The hotel is right by the sea, which is its main plus. After that, things went downhill: service felt like they thought guests were staying for free with relatives. Breakfast was the same every day and got tiresome over five days. Dinner came in fixed portions and wasn’t balanced; one evening there were no vegetables at all. Cleaning was poor, though the towels and sheets were clean.

We ate well, and the room was clean and comfortable, with a double bed, a single bed, and plenty of space. The beach is just a few steps away. The staff were friendly and helpful. Lara deserves a special thanks for making us feel at home, and Simone ran the dining room with real professionalism and precision. Thank you! 👍👍

I enjoyed the stay overall. The sea is close, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Our room had the amenities we needed and was cleaned regularly, so it was fairly tidy. Parking is inconveniently far from the hotel. The TV only had Italian channels and wouldn’t play YouTube.

Every morning during our six-night stay, the cleaning staff woke us early by banging doors and shouting along the hall. If you’re a light sleeper, steer clear. We also found a child on our bed while the cleaner was still in the room. We suspect the child was a housekeeper’s son, but either way, it felt disrespectful. One evening we came back to find the key left in our door, so anyone could have entered. And we had to ask for towels each day because they’d been forgotten. For a three-star hotel, this wasn’t the service we expected.
