Hotel Katina

Having a reserved parking spot right in front of the hotel was a big help. Free spaces in this area are nearly impossible to find, and after a tiring day we didn’t have to waste time looking for parking. The location also worked well for our family holiday. The sea and a lively promenade with restaurants and entertainment were close by, with several great restaurants and Fiabilandia within walking distance. With three small children, we also wanted to be near other parks, and Mirabilandia, Oltremare, Aquafan, the Aquarium of Cattolica, and Italia in Miniatura were all easy to reach within a 30-50 minute drive. San Marino is nearby for cultural outings too. It’s an ideal spot for an active holiday with lots to do. The hotel offered great value and the team were caring and welcoming. The staff were exceptionally kind, housekeeping friendly and helpful, and we returned each day to a tidy, clean room. At reception, cheerful, lovely people welcomed us and gave us lots of help. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful, and with their help we managed gluten-free meals easily. We grew very fond of the team and experienced exemplary Italian hospitality.

A good price, good breakfasts, and a helpful, accommodating staff made this an easy choice. The owner was willing to help, and the staff were always glad to assist. The hotel and rooms were clean, and it’s nicely placed between the beach and the center. Thanks, we’ll definitely come back! Lumir

It was easy to park the car, which was a real plus. The beach is very close, and there’s a warehouse and public transport nearby, as well as a children’s park. Our room had useful equipment and was comfortable. The hosts were welcoming and kind, and breakfast was fabulous.

We stayed five nights. The staff were polite and very helpful, but the building is quite dated. I’d booked expecting one double bed, yet found two single beds pushed together. The bathroom needs rethinking: in 2025, it shouldn’t be without a shower tray, with a nylon cubicle curtain, and with the shower right next to the toilet. If I’d known the beds were singles, I’d have picked another hotel in the same area and price range.
