Hotel Laguna Blu

The location is close to the beach, and there are much nicer, cleaner hotels next door. That's about the only good thing I can say. The place was dirty and smelled awful, as if it hadn't been cleaned in ten years. There was mold on the bathroom tiles, the shower was over the toilet, the room floor was sticky, and the air conditioning smelled of fungus and seemed unserviced. I don't know why they call this a hotel. The owners were unfriendly if you weren't Italian. At night, you couldn't go out for a walk because the hotel door would be locked when you came back. You also couldn't take your room key when going out to eat or sunbathe. The keys were left at reception, where anyone entering the hotel could access them. When we wanted to leave early in the morning, for example to catch a flight, the owner yelled that we should sleep until 7 and couldn't leave before then. There was no way to explain, since he didn't understand a word of English. I really don't recommend this place.

The coffee and the hotel's location were the only things we liked. The fruit at breakfast wasn't washed, the food overall was below standard, and the carpet on the stairs to the breakfast room looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. The place was very dirty and in poor condition. The family running it seemed nice and tried to be friendly, but clearly had more to handle than they could manage. We had booked two nights, then moved elsewhere. I wouldn't recommend it at all.

Breakfast was the one real highlight, and the location right across from the beach was good. The price was very low, but the furniture was old, the room wasn't very clean, and the bed was terrible. There's no private parking. They also charged an extra 10€ for air conditioning, even though it was included in the online booking.

It has a bit of a vintage look, but the hotel was clean, near the beach, and had an okay breakfast. There isn't parking on site, though for 8€ they'll give you a spot in a nearby parking area. Not bad overall 😁. I'd call them directly instead of booking through booking.com.
