Hotel Villa Cavalli

The dog was lovely with the children, and I appreciated that it never came near me, since I’m afraid of dogs. The owner was friendly and helpful, answered lots of our questions, and even gave us a useful map. We felt right at home during our five nights with two families. The place was very clean, with daily room cleaning even when I forgot to put the sign on the door. Our room was spacious and had toiletries. My request for a double bed and a single bed was handled quickly. Breakfast was very good and varied, with plenty for children, including pastries, cornflakes, fruit, nuts, and more. The beaches are close by. For service, cleanliness, and location, it was five stars for me. A wonderful stay, and I’ll definitely return.

The owner was so helpful and kind, and took time to show us the city’s most interesting, picturesque routes while accommodating all our requests. We stayed at the Villa Cavalli Hotel in early June. It was welcoming, clean, and very comfortable. We’d gladly return.

The owner is a gem and goes out of her way to keep guests happy. There’s room to park a few cars in the courtyard, too. It’s an affordable hotel in a good location, and the rooms and beds are okay. The shower was the weak point. There’s no cubicle or cover, and the drain sits in the middle of the bathroom. It takes several minutes for the water to warm up, and after showering the whole bathroom floor is soaked.

The beach area is even closer, about a five-minute walk. The city centre is easy to reach on foot in 5-10 minutes, and the value for money is great.
