After a 12-hour trip with two tired children, we just wanted to rest. Instead, after an hour waiting at Hotel Corona, booked through Check24, we were told there was no room and sent to Hotel Maracaibo. Dinner there was completely inedible. The room was dirty, with dirty, unpacked towels, and the bathroom was moldy and disgusting. Breakfast was awful too, with no real choice and dirty coffee cups. The hotel was full of children on a school trip who had no choice but to put up with what was served, which seems to be its main clientele. This was unacceptable even for a one-star place, never mind a three-star hotel, especially for what we paid. If you want a relaxing holiday, stay away. It felt like money mattered more than hospitality.

I’m not a professional traveler, but I’ve stayed in enough places to say this was the worst hotel I’ve visited. The old-fashioned furniture and beds were awful, the bathroom was dirty, there were no clean towels, and breakfast was rubbish. The TV was tiny too. On a scale of 1 to 10, I’d give it a 2. I’d have been fine paying an extra 20 E for better service. I’d tell people not to stay here.

The rooms were clean and had air conditioning, and the food was very good. Staff were really friendly. The hotel is in a perfect spot, close to the sea and the bus stop, which gets you quickly to the older part of Rimini. I recommend it :)

We had a really nice time here. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, with lots of dishes and drinks to choose from. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The beach is about 300 m away. :)
