The sauna in the apartment was such a treat, especially when the weather turned bad. We could relax there comfortably. The terrace was another favorite, with its view over the Eisack Valley, herb garden, deck chairs, armchairs, bench and dining table, plus a Weber grill we used often. We've been at Chalet Frieda for a week and have enjoyed every minute. The panoramic apartment is equipped with everything. The welcome package from the Bierbauer family was phenomenal: butter, milk, eggs, coffee, juice, bread, pasta, organic tomato sauce, fruit, Prosecco, and plenty more. Ban Erschbama, the farm tavern run by Mrs. Bierbauer's sister, is just a minute away on foot. And if you don't want to drive down to the valley for groceries, Bringz.com delivers regional products of excellent quality, including some organic options. Chalet Frieda is a relaxing little oasis in a beautiful setting, where you can just let your eyes and mind wander.

Getting back home was hard after such a great holiday. My wife, my daughters, and I stayed at Chalet Frieda from December 30th to January 11th, and it was one of the best holidays we've had.
