B&B Villa Alemi

We’ve just checked out of Villa Alemi, and Mrs. Anna Maria was so welcoming and nice. The service and facilities were great, breakfast was perfect, and the garden view is breathtaking. There are plenty of gorgeous beaches and lidos just a short drive away. You can’t go wrong here!

We stayed at Villa Alemi for a week and a half and loved it. Anna Maria is a fantastic host who made us feel at home from day one. She oversaw the beautiful renovation, and it’s clear how thoughtfully the bed & breakfast was put together. Our room was lovely, with a beautiful terrace and fantastic view. Breakfast was included, with lots of fresh, high quality food and drinks to choose from. The garden is lovely for a quiet evening, too. We were a big group, and Anna-Maria let us use the main floor terrace and garden for dinner and drinks, which was great. We came to Rivello because we have lots of friends here. It’s a really cute village, close to both the mountains and the beach, about a 20 minute drive. We loved Villa Alemi and will certainly be back. Grazie per tutto, Anna Maria!

We booked at the very last minute and loved it so much that we stayed as long as we could. I called from the parking lot to ask if they had a room, and got a cheerful “Yes! Welcome!” The violet colored facade and easy parking and unloading made for a gentle arrival. We got a warm greeting and a quick tour to explain how things worked. My nephew and I chose the attic apartment. It was cozy, incredibly spacious and well appointed, and I slept like a baby. The skylights were fabulous and actually opened. The fiber internet was very fast, even for uploading. Our TV was signed into Netflix, and local TV was available too. My 22 year old nephew called breakfast the best after three weeks in Italy on the first day, then the best of his life on day two. It was the season for fresh orange juice and cherries from the yard. Every day we had local wholesome breads, cheeses and homemade treats, including yogurt, cornetti, pistachio cream and unfiltered honey. Anna Maria and Giuseppe were around with warm smiles and great tips for adventures barely shown on maps, like the sublime Noce River. They know the world class beaches, tumbling mountain streams and historical sites in depth. They also respected our need for space and privacy, including in the garden. Rivello will grab you and hold you, I promise. I’m sitting in a comfy chair in the B&B garden under the blooming bougainvillea one last time, while my nephew explores the old town center just outside and up the steps.

A really nice B&B with a very tasty breakfast. Recommend!
