Sheraton Parco de' Medici Rome Hotel

We had a relaxed, comfortable stay in a spacious, well-kept senior suite. The hotel is a bit far from the city center, but its affordable transport options made it easy to explore Rome. The building has lovely old-world character, and some areas were being redecorated, which gave the classic feel a fresh touch. A special thanks to Lorena from Sheraton’s staff for helping us with everything. Her support was top-notch and very professional. If you're after a quiet, relaxed trip in Rome, we'd recommend this hotel.

We came in very late, but Martina and Lorena welcomed us so warmly and made sure everything was sorted so we could rest after a long day. They went above and beyond and set a lovely tone for our short stay. We chose this Sheraton because we had an early flight the next day and wanted to be closer to the airport. We'd highly recommend it.

The omelettes were especially good, and the mixed vegetables were moist inside and well marinated. The breakfast restaurant servers were particularly friendly and courteous, always ready to help and offering more food and drinks. Angelica and Beatrice were approachable and helpful, too. Thanks for making the stay so comfortable :)

The staff were kind and friendly, which is the main reason I didn't complain at length. It was the end of our trip and I just didn't have the energy for a fight. Still, heed my warning and stay somewhere else. Bring earplugs, and don't expect to bathe or shower. Our room was clean and a decent size, with a comfortable bed, clean sheets and good bedding. But the hotel badly needs updating and shows a lot of age and wear. A couple of lamps didn't work, and the safe door wouldn't close properly. The bathroom was a wreck: the stained toilet needed a deep clean, didn't flush properly and kept running. The tub wouldn't drain, the shower head sprayed in every direction, and there was no hot water. We couldn't shower or bathe. The noise was awful. We could hear neighbors next door, above, below and on both sides, as well as people in the hall and outside. You need earplugs to sleep. The location is fair for central Rome, but it's far from attractions and 10 minutes from the airport. The restaurant is fair too. The food was OK but overpriced, except the prepaid breakfast for 13 euro, which was a bargain.
