We stayed here last year and loved the not-too-touristy feel of i Testaccio, where you can eat alongside Romans and find plenty of good spots for authentic Roman food. It's a three-room B&B with a lovely hostess, Liana, and it's close to things, or well connected to wherever you're headed. Highly recommended.

The road outside gets busy, but the building is amazing and the room was lovely. The location also worked well for reaching Rome's main sights on foot or by bus.
