The cacio e pepe was among the best I've eaten in Rome, and the service really stood out. The rooms are beautiful and impeccably appointed. It's a stunning hotel in an incredible spot, right next to Harry’s Bar. I've seen some negative reviews and am genuinely surprised, because my experience was outstanding. I highly recommend it, particularly if you have high standards like I do.

I spotted this place while enjoying Via Veneto and stopped in for a quick lunch with my missus. Even in such a touristy area, the food was outstanding from start to finish. We had an appetizer, delicious pasta alla gricia, homemade polpette, and the chef's suggested panna cotta. I reckon they're not getting the word out enough, so do pop in and try the food. I'll definitely be back.

We had to cut our morning short to collect our lost luggage, and breakfast at the hotel worked out great the next day. The staff were also great about coordinating with the airport and arranging a taxi so we could go back and pick up the bag after it was found. Our deluxe room was spacious and looked nice. Most attractions are farther away, though a few are about a 30-minute walk.

This is just about the hotel's restaurant. We chose it because of the mushroom display outside, and the evening began nicely with a male host who greeted us but didn't introduce himself. He described a chicken dinner with roasted mushrooms and mashed potatoes, and my husband and I shared it. The chicken was cooked well, and the small bowl of potatoes was a nice addition. The mushrooms weren't cooked enough for my taste, but I didn't mention it. Dessert was very well done. Then the bill came: €20 for that small bowl of mashed potatoes, while the same restaurant charges €24 for lamb, and €30 for the mushrooms, of which there were probably 8-10 small ones. The host must have noticed my surprise and took €15 off the mushroom price. I still can't get over the €20 potatoes. Check the prices before ordering if you eat there.

The food was perfect, and Sibilla was so pleasant and helpful. I'd happily eat here again and again.
