We found the room a little chilly during our February stay, since the apartment uses central heating from the main network. The rest worked very well: it was cleaned every day, and water, snacks, and coffee were available for free. There are two rentable rooms and a shared kitchen. The host was easy to reach, and self check-in was simple. We could open the doors using the app or codes. The apartment is in a great part of Monti, near Regoli Pasticceria. Most major sights are walkable within 30 minutes, though the Vatican museum is the exception. Very, very good stay.

Via merulana is a clean, secure area, with Santa Maggiore basilica just down the street and the Colloseum about a 15-minute walk away. There are loads of restaurants nearby. Some serve vegetarian food or will adapt dishes, especially if you can explain exactly what you want. Vegetarian options are available.

The host communication was really unpleasant and unprofessional. It’s an overpriced shared apartment, with the owners renting rooms to whoever and making even more profit. The rooms are dark and nowhere near soundproof, so you hear everything happening in the other room.

The location is excellent, close to Roma Terrmal and public transport for getting around to the sights. The room was clean and tidy, very comfortable, and had a great shower and air conditioning. The fridge was stocked with extras like water, yoghurt, juice, and fruit. There were also coffee, biscuits, and plenty of utensils for making breakfast or lunch at home. I’ll definitely come back.
