The balcony caught the sun and was full of flowers, a lovely spot to take in everyday Roman life. Inside, the Art Deco touches stood out, from the detailed tiles to the vintage furnishings. Everything was spotless, including the bathroom and kitchen, with daily upkeep. Agatha was a wonderful host and shared useful tips on sightseeing, food, and getting around. The apartment is in Trastevere, close to the underground, buses, and supermarkets, and the train ride from Rome-Fiumicino Airport takes 35 minutes. The kitchen has everything for cooking, or making tea in the evening. A lovely base for a real Roman experience.
