It’s really cozy and clean, with a private bathroom of your own. Sussana was helpful whenever we needed anything. I’m not sure why it’s listed as a 1-star hotel when you get such a lovely, clean room. From FCO, it’s a 14 Euro train ride followed by a 1.5 euro metro ride. You don’t need a car here. The Colosseum is about a 15-minute walk, and the metro is three minutes away on foot. San Giovanni Basilica is worth checking out, about an eight-minute walk away. I’d recommend this B and B to friends and family.

The best host I’ve had, and I travel a lot. The location is awesome.

The apartment was roomy, comfortable and very clean, with a private bathroom and a shared kitchen that had everything we needed for cooking and storing food. It’s in the basement, which was the one downside, though it didn’t spoil our stay and worked fine for us. Getting around was easy. The street was quiet, with the metro and plenty of buses nearby, including routes 87, 85 and 51 into the centre. We could walk to the Colosseum and Roman Forum in about 15-20 minutes, depending on our pace. There were also shops, bars, bakeries and restaurants close by, and we felt both the neighbourhood and the building were safe. Suzana made us feel at home and helped us get our bearings. Her suggestions for trattorias, bakeries and bars were good local places, not tourist traps. We’d contact her again when we return to Rome. For this price, a place with a magical view of Rome would mean staying a long way from the city centre.

Susanna was a big help, and the room was clean and comfortable. The place is in San Giovanni, close to the metro, with some attractions easy to reach on foot.
