We were left without anywhere to stay, which was stressful and unacceptable. The host was extremely rude and refused to let us in because we arrived late. He dealt with it over the phone and wasn’t even there, despite the property being advertised as self check-in. Terrible experience.

Honestly, I’d advise people not to stay here. I was told by residents in the building, not just one but all of them, that they had nothing good to say about this gentleman. We waited three hours for confirmation to residents and got no answer. David said this channel was rude and didn’t care. From the way I was treated, I can see why I shouldn’t stay here. Expedia and Booking.com should take Ai Musei Vaticani BB off their website. You’re giving yourself a bad name by using it. AGAIN, DO NOT STAY HERE.

The location was the only good thing about this place. The rooms were very dirty, there was no soap or other bathroom supplies, and the air conditioning didn’t work. The person managing it was very rude and didn’t respond when we complained. Breakfast was included, but we were given a coupon for a nearby cafe and had to wait almost an hour. I don’t recommend this hotel at all.

We had nowhere to stay after Alessandro refused to accommodate us. We were confused about how to enter the room and check in, and although I tried to calmly explain over the phone where I was, I wasn’t given a chance to speak. He lost his temper, used very ugly language and was harsh with me. We’d had no problems on our road trip through Italy, and everyone else had been kind. This was traumatizing.
