The location was perfect, and the room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly, and the whole stay exceeded my expectations. I’d happily recommend it.

After a few years of travelling around Europe, we finally made it to Rome. It took a while to find somewhere, but we settled on Ai Senatori, about an eight-minute walk from Vatican City. We were impressed on arrival. Susanna greeted us at the door, and this bed and breakfast felt up to hotel standards. The security system was excellent, and there was even a personal safe in the room. Susanna gave us clear, precise instructions for using the lift and made us feel welcome. Since we were new to Roma, the staff were very helpful: they gave us a bus ticket from their own supply and directions. The housekeeping crew were professional and meticulous, leaving the room comfortable and tidy with fresh towels after a hot day out. I’d tip them well. The air-conditioned bedroom and bathroom were very quiet. After a long day, the bed was a real pleasure: soft and comfortable, but still firm, and we woke up refreshed. In the morning, Susanna provided a fresh pastry and a freshly brewed hot drink from a nearby cafe, with no charge. The smell of the pastries filled the air and made the morning. There were city and metro maps available too. Nearby, there’s a pharmacy a stone’s throw away, a sandwich cafe around the block, and a gelato shop close by that stays open until midnight. We thought it was the best in Rome, no recommendation needed. We’ll return to Ai Senatori. Thank you, Susanna, for making our holiday fantastic. Bongiorno to everyone in the area.

The room was lovely, with an en suite, tea and coffee facilities, and a mini fridge. We also had complimentary water and fruity sweets. Our host was attentive and shared plenty of helpful advice and information. Shops, bars and restaurants were all nearby, and the central location made it easy to get to the Vatican, St Peter's Basiilica and the City Tour Bus. We’d definitely book again for another city break.

The neighborhood was lovely, and everything in Rome was close by. The owners were really kind, and the accommodation was great.

There's an elevator, which is a real help in an old building, and the room was cleaned every day. The B&B is near the Vatican, feels safe, and is good value. The hostess is warm and lovely, always ready to answer questions, and the other staff were helpful too. The single room is spacious, with windows in both the room and bathroom, plenty of storage, and a handy kitchenette. If you're staying more than five days, it's useful for picking up fruit and vegetables. Coffee is provided, and there's dish soap in the kitchen. Breakfast is served at a popular nearby café where lots of office workers stop in the morning. The croissants and coffee were both excellent. Bring your own shampoo, toothbrush, and toothpaste. The cleanliness was about average compared with the B&Bs we stayed in during our 50 days in Italy. There can be a lingering plumbing smell, perhaps because Rome is an old city. The place also seems to have been around for a while, with stained walls, switches, and toilet brushes. Bringing perfume and alcohol helped us deal with those issues.
