A lovely place if all you need is a bed and a shower. We didn’t eat the breakfast because it wasn’t good. The Colosseum is the farthest sight to walk to, and it’s less than an hour away.

The owners are extremely nice, and the prices are very good for what you get. Just remember the city tax, around 2 EUR, which you can only pay in cash.

At €21 per person for the night, breakfast was included, though that meant a 0.2-liter carton drink, a packaged pastry, and instant coffee or tea. We wound up eating at one of the two coffee bars in the building instead. The place is simple and inexpensive, and sharing a bathroom among three rooms caused hardly any delays. An evening shower was easy enough. If you're mostly out seeing Rome and just need somewhere to sleep without expecting much, it works.

I never got to see the inside. I had booked and received a confirmation, but yesterday I was left stranded: I rang the bell several times and nobody answered, and there were no phone calls either. It feels like a scam to me. Don't take it seriously, or you could end up with an unpleasant surprise.

Comfortable and roomy, and really close to the Vatican and other tourist spots.
