There’s a great poke place across the street if you don’t feel like having pizza. My stay was great: the room was clean and spacious, and check-in was easy. Maria, the housekeeper, was really kind, and the landlady stayed in touch every day to check that things were okay and ask if I needed anything. I’d definitely recommend it.

The bus stop is close by, and the metro is a little farther away, though still an easy walk. Loredana was a great host, and both the large room and bathroom were clean. Everything worked perfectly for me, and I’d definitely stay here again.

I booked and cancelled right away, like someone mentioned in an earlier review. I knew I’d been charged and was waiting for the refund. The €144 charge went through on 9/25, but I still haven’t received anything back. I emailed and sent a WhatsApp message two days ago, on 11/7, and it’s now 11/9 with no reply. I’m worried this will turn into a long, inconvenient refund process. Be careful when booking with them.

The room at Amicol del Sole was cozy, clean, and nicely decorated, with a comfortable bed and a well-kept, fully equipped bathroom. The place has a quiet, genuine atmosphere, and I felt more like I was staying with friends than at a hotel. It isn’t luxurious, but it’s warm and comfortable, and it gave me an authentic Roman experience. The neighborhood is peaceful while still making it easy to get to Rome’s main attractions. The hosts were kind and helpful, sharing advice about nearby places, transport, and where to eat. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this welcoming, affordable B&B for a calm visit to Rome.
