Amico Hotel Roma

The shower had very low water pressure, though I got used to it after a while, and the bathroom lights didn’t work. The small room was cleaned daily and worked fine for somewhere to sleep and leave my luggage.

There’s no restaurant at the hotel, but Pigneto has plenty of restaurants and Italian street food. Getting into the city center is easy: the tram stop is right across from the hotel, the bus is down the street, and Pigneto metro station is a three-minute walk away. For a two-star hotel, it’s great. The staff are excellent and the rooms are clean. If you want your room cleaned, just leave the key at reception.

The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, and the place is comfortable and very clean. Staff were friendly and efficient, and there are lots of small eateries and cafes in the neighborhood. It can get noisy at times because the property is so close to public transport.

It’s a little hard to find, but the staff are kind, the room is cleaned every day, and the tram is nearby. It’s cheap and works perfectly if all you need is somewhere to rest and store your luggage.
